New and Improved Marriott and Hilton Rewards Sign Up Bonuses

If you are new to Hotel Programs and collecting Hotel Points there is a new offer from the two big hotel chains for new members.

Marriott Rewards and Hilton Honors are now offering points for new members that stay in their hotels this year. The Marriott is significantly better, but you should sign up for both programs, as should your spouse or significant other. I have advocated joining every free program you can.

The Marriott Rewards new member sign up gives the new member 1,000 extra bonus points for each of their first five stays in the remainder of 2008.

The Hilton Honors program gives you 1000 points after your second stay in 2008.

Hilton seems to have responded to the Marriott offer which came out several days ago. Don;t be surprised if the other chains offer sign up bonuses in the near future. I will of course let you know when that happens.

2008 Travellers' Choice Destination Awards are Available Here

The file is 8.34 MB in color with separate listings for top 100 worldwide, top 25 USA and top 25 Canada. In addition the top 25 destinations for each contintent separately are also listed. The photography is nice and each destination has a small write up.
